The new toll-free Sydney Gateway officially opened on Sunday, 1 September, delivering enhanced connectivity to Sydney Airport.
With 5km of new, traffic-light-free roads, this development provides drivers with better access to the airport, particularly benefiting those traveling from Western Sydney. Expect quicker, smoother journeys to the Domestic Terminals and a significant reduction in travel times to Australia’s main gateway.
This upgrade isn't just for travellers; it also means less congestion on local roads as cars and trucks are redirected.
To support the transition, Sydney Airport will double its roadside staff and introduce overflow drop-offs during peak times.
