By Uber at T1 International
UberX pick-ups will take place at Rank C, located 20m outside of Arrivals Hall B. These rides will use Uber PIN technology.
After requesting a ride, riders will receive a six-digit PIN code which they can provide to the first available driver at the pick-up zone before entering the vehicle to start their trip.
All other Uber products including Uber premium, Uber XL, and Uber Green will be allocated a specific vehicle and will pick up from Rank B where Uber will have 4 dedicated bays for these services. These services will not use PIN technology.
By Uber at T2 Domestic
Passengers arriving via the T2 Domestic terminal can access Uber rides from the Priority Pick-up Zone.
By Uber at T3 Domestic
Uber pick-ups will take place kerbside, directly outside of the T3 Domestic terminal (Arrivals level).
By other ride share
Request a ride from all other rideshare services and get picked up from the Priority Pick-up Zone.
Fares to SYD vary depending on the selected vehicle option, travel time, and total distance.
By taxi
Each terminal has its own sheltered taxi rank with supervisors on hand during peak times to ensure a smooth flow of taxis for travellers.
If you need assistance, kerbside supervisors can also organise taxis with baby capsules, wheelchair access, five-seaters and maxi taxis for larger groups or station wagons for large amounts of baggage.
Information for taxi passengers
Drivers are required to accept all fares, small or large, from the airport. The kerbside management team will help you and your driver with this request.
Please note that taxis are not permitted to pick up passengers away from a taxi rank and drivers can be fined AU$5,000 for breaking the regulation.
Accessible taxi facilities
Taxi drivers who need to assist their passengers to the terminal buildings may leave their vehicles at designated pre-booked taxi bays at both the international and domestic terminals.
Different procedures apply for drop off and pick-up at each terminal and additional kerbside management officers are on hand to manage the system and assist drivers and passengers. Customers requiring accessible taxis are advised to pre-book where possible.
Due to aviation security requirements, taxi drivers may not leave their vehicles when stopped outside terminal buildings.
